I’m an agent at Red Fox Literary, representing authors and illustrators across the full spectrum of children’s publishing: picture books, middle grade, YA, graphic novels, and nonfiction. Having said that, I am probably most passionate about picture books and middle grade, and there are certain areas I am specifically looking to increase on my list. For picture books, I’m looking for: For middle grade, I’m looking for: For graphic novels, I’m looking for: For nonfiction, I’m looking for: For illustrations, I am looking for: *Across all genres, I am looking for projects from a diverse range of creators, including BIPOC and other traditionally underrepresented voices.* I am not the right agent for: Fun facts about me: I love my job, because I get to do a little bit of everything—editorial, art direction, sales, cheerleading, and general support. As much as I love my job, I also love a lot of other things. I have two elementary-aged girls who constantly keep me on my toes. I enjoy gardening (hard-to-kill plants only, please!), sewing my own clothes, and playing the ukulele. My husband and I have renovated several houses, and no matter where we live, we always seem to have dust and debris from some project or other underfoot. We are lucky to live in an area where we can be outside as much as possible—I love hiking, or just sitting on my front porch spotting bears and other wildlife.
