About
Alan Brodie is the founder of Alan Brodie Representation Ltd, a UK-based agency that specializes in representing playwrights, screenwriters, and estates of deceased authors. The agency is particularly well known for managing the literary estates of major dramatists. Brodie has been a significant figure in British theatrical and dramatic rights representation.
Currently Looking For
Alan Brodie Representation focuses on dramatic writing for stage and screen rather than prose fiction or general trade books. The agency is especially known for estate management and does not widely publicize an open submissions wishlist in the conventional sense.
Submission Guidelines
Alan Brodie Representation is primarily a theatrical and dramatic rights agency and does not typically accept unsolicited manuscripts in the same way as trade literary agencies. Writers seeking representation should query via the agency's contact details with a cover letter and details of their work. The agency's website provides the most current guidance.
