About
Jody Kahn is a literary agent at Brandt & Hochman Literary Agents, Inc., a well-established New York agency with a long history in the industry. She represents both fiction and nonfiction across a range of categories.
Currently Looking For
I represent both literary and upmarket fiction, as well as narrative nonfiction; across all categories I am looking for books that are beautifully written while also containing a really good story, and I’m especially drawn to characters with a lot of depth and to voice-driven narratives. Dark and edgy is always a plus. In nonfiction, I’m particularly interested in story-driven narrative related to sports, food, history, science, pop-culture, literary memoir and journalism.
