Currently Looking For
I joined Thompson Literary Agency in 2017 to seek out bold new voices in literary fiction and narrative nonfiction. My list includes critically acclaimed and award winning writers such as Lee Matalone, Ari Braverman, Peace Adzo Medie, Nichole Perkins, Destiny O. Birdsong, Candice Wuehle, Janice Obuchowski, and Katie Barnes. I received my B.A. in Anthropology and English Literature from Johns Hopkins University and my M.A. in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. My studies in modernism, sociolinguistics, and affect theory continue to influence my reading tastes. I consider myself an extremely editorial agent, having launched my publishing career as an acquiring editor at Simon & Schuster. Fun facts about me: My name is pronounced Kylie! And no, my parents still cannot really explain why they spelled it this way.
