Currently Looking For
In addition to acquiring all genres of YA, I’m also looking for New Adult and Adult manuscripts in fantasy, horror, romance, and cross genres. My main goal is to build an inclusive list of stories, so marginalized creators are always highly encouraged and very welcome to submit. Below are some things I’m currently looking for, but keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive. Gothic, spooky, atmospheric settings. Think dark academia vibes Witches, vampires, werewolves, and monsters Non-western folklore and mythology The Gemma Doyle Trilogy was my favorite series as a teen, so any comps to that Cozy fantasy Fantasy that feels like a D&D campaign Stories that incorporate video games somehow Nerdy things in general YA Contemporaries that don’t focus on the main character trying to get into college Psychological horror Stories that take place in one night Compelling villains WNBA queer romance/romcom (like Cleat Cute but with basketball) Genre blending stories (horror romance, fantasy mystery, etc.) A voice that can make me laugh Drag queens Sapphic horror Please don’t send me anything generated by AI, graphic novels, pictures books, nonfiction, novels in verse, stories that center cancer or dementia, stories that focus on sexual assault or school shootings, or any story where the dog dies.
