Currently Looking For
I’m looking for literary novels spanning generations, weaving characters and contexts into rich narrative, describing complex and long-standing relationships, revealing histories and events slowly and deliberately, illustrating character flaws and motivations for behaviour through the subtle portrayal of past experiences. I especially look for strong female characters/protagonists who start out as the downtrodden and gain insight through experience. I am drawn to them when their strength grows as the story progresses. The use of wit and humour draws me in even more!
