The Manuscript Wishlist community, originating from the #MSWL hashtag where literary agents share what they want to read, has evolved into an ecosystem of writer forums, Discord servers, and organized critique partner matching events focused on helping querying authors refine manuscripts to agent-ready status. Community-run Discord servers such as 'Authors on the Rise' and 'Manuscript Academy Community' branch from this network, offering CP pairing channels organized by genre, heat level, audience, and word count. These communities are especially valuable for writers in the querying trenches seeking targeted, market-aware peer feedback.
