Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Overview

Above the Slush is a directory and set of tools — not a literary agency. Our AI-powered manuscript analysis and comp title features are informational tools only. Results are not a guarantee of agent interest, publication, or any other outcome. This policy explains when refunds are available.

Subscriptions (WRITER and PRO plans)

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • We do not issue refunds for the current billing period. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • No partial-month credits are issued under any circumstances, including non-use of the account.

Single Project purchase ($19)

The Single Project purchase is a one-time payment that provides access to a full AI manuscript analysis for one project.

  • Refund available for technical failure: If the analysis fails to complete due to a technical error on our end — and we cannot deliver results — you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • No refund once analysis is delivered. AI output is inherently subjective. We cannot guarantee specific scores, agent match counts, or any particular assessment of your manuscript. Disagreement with the AI's conclusions does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date.

How to request a refund

Chargebacks
